You will also have the assurance that in the event of a breakdown you will receive priority service over non-member clients and will receive preferred customer pricing for repairs and system replacement.

Metro Heating & Cooling will endeavor to render prompt and efficient service hereunder, but is expressly agreed that.
Metro Heating & Cooling shall in no event be liable for damage or loss caused by delay or any loss arising out of the performance of this agreement.
Metro Heating & Cooling reserves the right to reject any agreement for service to any equipment which upon inspection by our technicians, is found to be in such a condition that such service would be unsatisfactory to both parties.
It is mutually agreed that this agreement covers only the specific equipment repairs, inspections, and cleaning services described herein, and that any other additional work, repairs, and/or adjustments that may be recommended will only be done with the homeowner’s consent, and will be performed at additional charge.
No service will be rendered under this agreement if customer has a past due account, all inspections, discounts, and membership will be voided. Metro Heating & Cooling reserves the right to cancel this agreement with 30 day written notice and refund unused portion.
PLATINUM SAFETY & EFFICIENCY AGREEMENT
Neglecting necessary maintenance ensures a steady decline in air conditioning performance while energy use steadily increases.
Keeping your system properly maintained lowers energy and repair costs, prevents breakdowns, prolongs the life of your equipment, and protects you from unsafe conditions. Your “Platinum Club” membership takes care of all these. You will also have the assurance that in the event of a breakdown you will receive priority service over non-member clients, we will perform covered repairs at no additional cost, you will receive preferred customer pricing for work not covered, and you are entitled to “system replacement allowance”.

Provisions This program is limited to equipment that is 10 years old or less.

Metro Heating & Cooling, prior to the implementation of this agreement must inspect all equipment.

Metro Heating & Cooling will provide details of any necessary repairs for the equipment and a proposal to make appropriate repairs.

These repairs must be performed prior to the implementation of this agreement.

Any equipment not repaired will be eligible for an Energy Savers Club Agreement.

Covered repairs are limited to thermostat, motors, relays, controls, and maintainable components that fail due to normal wear and tear only.

Repairs necessary due to vandalism, fire, theft, electrical inconsistencies, forces of weather, acts of war, or any outside influence are not covered.

We will repair or replace worn components with like components at the discretion of Metro Heating & Cooling.

Compressors, coils, refrigerant lines, and heat exchangers are excluded from repair or replacement under this agreement.

Upon this agreement being in place for a minimum of 1 year you will be eligible for a replacement upgrade rebate. Metro Heating & Cooling will allow 50% of the total amount spent on this agreement toward the replacement of the complete system. Provided that the new equipment is provided by and the installation is performed by Metro Heating & Cooling. The maximum allowed for rebate is the equivalent of one half the cost of this agreement for up to 10 consecutive years. Any cancellation in or break in service of this agreement nullifies any and all rebate eligibility. This rebate is non-transferable to any other owner or system.

Metro Heating & Cooling will only be responsible for covered repairs to the equipment listed for this agreement. No additional warranty is expressed or implied.

Metro Heating & Cooling will not be responsible for any damages, consequential or incidental, that may result, directly or indirectly, from the operation, lack of operation, or break down of this equipment.

Metro Heating & Cooling will perform repairs in as timely of manner as component availability and weather conditions will allow.

Freight and handling charges are not covered under this agreement.

The owner agrees to provide access to the equipment no less than twice per year for inspection and cleaning service. This work must be performed between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm Monday through Friday excluding holidays.
